Music Around the World: Embark on a musical adventure around the globe. Discover diverse countries and cultures through their music. Grades PK-K

Musical Theater: Do you like to sing and dance? Grades 1-2 will perform When I Grow Up and grades 3-5 will perform You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Grades 5-8 will perform a review of greatest hits of musical theater, such as Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof, and Les Mis�rables - or what musicals interest you? Bring in your ideas! Grades 1-8

Creative Writing: Could posters, magazines, paintings, films, and books inspire you to write stories and poetry? See your work published in our magazine. Submit your work to competitions. Grades 1-8

Goo, Gak, Slime: Discover hands-on chemistry as you explore slippery substances and mushy stuff via elbow-deep, sometimes silly, but ex- tremely scientific projects and experiments. Grades 1-2

Creating Games from Scratch: Learn how to program computer games in Scratch, developed at MIT and used to create a wide variety of games, from simple to complex. Grades 3-8

Advanced Scratch: Extend your knowledge of programming in Scratch. Advance your skills and create more sophisticated games. (Prerequisite: Creating Games from Scratch) Grades 4-8

Rocket Cars, Rollercoasters, and Radical Flying Machines! Build a rocket car from a soda bottle then race it in a class tournament. Create, construct, and test your own roller coaster track. Discover some of the coolest paper airplanes and gliders on the planet! Grades 3-8

Indoor/Outdoor Game Design: Do you like to invent new games? Play indoor and outdoor games, analyze strategies, and develop your own rules. Create a fresh variation or design a brand new game! Grades 1-8

Sculpture Studio: Create, shape, mold, and model your ideas into 3-D masterpieces of such diverse media as clay, fabric, paint, paper, wood, and wire. Grades 1-8

Masters of Mystery: Investigate and solve mys- teries! Uncover schemes, break secret codes, sleuth for clues, deduce conclusions, and crack cases. Grades 3-8

Chemical Investigations: What is in our water, soil and air? Test a variety of samples to determine their qualities and possible contaminants. ($25 lab fee) Grades 3-8

Travel the World: Pack your suitcase for a globe- trotting adventure! Expand your horizons with virtual travel to new places. Discover the food, cultures, people, and landmarks of countries around the world. Grades 1-4

Lego WeDo Robotics: Build robots, such as an alligator, with Legos, motors, gears, and sensors. Program your robots using a computer. ($10 lab fee) Grades 1-4

Afternoon Program

Grades PreK-5: Locomotion

Rotate with your peer groupsto a creative blend of subjects and hands-on activities, such as art, drama, science, history, cooperative games, and outdoor play.

Grades 6-8: Two exciting workshop courses:

Art: Does art ignite creativity in you? Work with a variety of media while experimenting with a range of artistic styles and techniques.

Drama: Is acting dependent on learning lines? Broaden your skills through study of mime perfor- mance techniques and discover acting beyond words.
