PreK and Kindergarten - Students will enjoy the following two 75-minute courses every Sunday:



Science Spies: Conduct hands-on lab investigations to uncover hidden principles of sundry motions and potions.
Tales Around the World: Ever wonder how the story of The Gingerbread Boy is told in China? In Mexico? Explore folktales, fairy tales, and storytelling around the world.

1st - 8th Grade Courses (as indicated) - Students enrolling in two 75-minute courses choose from the following:

Creative Writing: Compose stories and poetry inspired by posters, paintings, films, books, etc. Be published in your class magazine. Grades 1-8
Science Experiments with Toys: Discover mystery eggs, feely balloons, burping bottles, and crushing cans. Explore the science and wonder of toys via hands-on fun and science experiments. Grades 1-2
Chemistry Lab: Explore chemical properties through hands-on experiments. Investigate molecular structure. Experiment with solutions, solvents, and reactants, but don't blow up the lab! Grades 3-8
Medieval Times: Investigate the age of castles, knights, and flying unicorns. Build a castle, design your coat of arms, throw a feast . . . and don't forget to feed your dragon! Grades 1-4
The Art of Math: Discover how diverse cultures combine math and art. Explore design, pattern, and architecture. Create your own 2-D and 3-D mathematical masterpieces! Grades 1-2
Hands-On Geometry: Create geometric patterns and Escherian designs, construct figures with straightedge and compass, and build 3-D models of polyhedra. Develop geometric intuition through hands-on exploration. Grades 3-8
Introduction to Lego Robotics: Engineer and pro- gram robots to solve challenges using gears, motors, sensors, and computers. ($10 lab fee) Grades 3-8
Lego Robotics Competition: Join with other advanced students to strategize, design, program, and ultimately race your robots. (Prerequisite: at least one Lego Robotics course.) ($10 lab fee) Grades 3-8
Scratch Computer Lab: Explore the possibilities of Scratch, a computer program developed at MIT. Create your own computer games and animations. Grades 3-6
Theater Club: Experience the exhilarating world of live theater! Develop different characters as you play theater games, rehearse skits and scenes, and perform for family and friends. Grades 1-8
Art Unlimited: Does art ignite creativity in you? Create multi-dimensional masterpieces of mixed media, methods, and muses. Grades 1-8


Workshops for Grades 5 - 10 - Students enrolling in a two and one-half hour workshop will enjoy the following class every Sunday:

Electronics and Robotics Lab: Explore electronic components and learn basic circuitry while constructing various projects, from sirens to dice to robots! Learn to solder, decipher technical instructions, assemble circuit boards, and read schematic diagrams. ($60 lab fee) Grades 5-10
