Program Structure / Application / Placement
For all students attending Worlds of Wisdom and Wonder in Winfield, mornings consist of three 50 minute classes. The curricula encourages the development of problem solving skills and creativity. Projects and activities in all classes evoke active, hands-on participation. The Winfield program meets from 9:20 until 12:00, Monday through Friday, from June 11th to June 22nd.
Apply early! Download and complete the application and mail it in with the required deposit of $50 per two-week program. Please use regular first class mail only as students are placed according to the postmark dates of their applications rather than the date they are received. Applications received without deposit(s) will not be processed. Applications are not accepted by phone, fax, email, or online. New students may submit teacher recommendations separately.
Parents are notified of their children�s enrollment status within two weeks of application, or, for new students, following review of their teacher recommendations. Enrollment packets with class schedules, parent seminar information, maps, etc are mailed a week or two before each session begins.
Payment / Refunds / Withdrawls
A deposit of $50 must accompany application. The balance of tuition is due by May 28. Make checks or money orders payable to: The Center for Gifted. We do not accept credit cards. Lab fees for the Robotics classes (if applicable) are payable on the first day of the program.
If a student withdraws before the program begins, a $50 processing fee is retained. The remainder of tuition paid is refunded upon written request. There are no credits or refunds for withdrawing from a program after it begins. There are no credits or refunds for absences for any reason. There are no sibling discounts.
